Job summary

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is seeking a highly organized Development Coordinator to support donor communications, acknowledgments, database management and development reporting. You will work closely with the Donor Relations Manager to strengthen donor relationships and identify giving opportunities in a fully remote, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, administration or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a warm, professional approach to donor relationships.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Blackbaud or comparable donor management systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Comfort working with data, reports and donor information.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive donor information.
• Self-starter in a remote, fast-paced, small-team environment.
• Collaborative mindset to support fundraising activities.
• Passion for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer mission.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for individual donor inquiries and provide timely responses.
• Assist with managing relationships with individual donors and ongoing engagement.
• Help identify opportunities to upgrade, renew and re-engage donors in partnership with the Donor Relations Manager.
• Support donor communications and campaigns, including appeals and recurring giving initiatives.
• Assist with researching prospective donors and fundraising growth.
• Help coordinate donor meetings and communications.
