Job summary

Supabase is seeking Support Engineers to provide world-class developer support for users of our Postgres-based platform. You will respond to a variety of inquiries, triage issues, and collaborate with product engineering to improve guidance and tooling.

The team is globally distributed, and the role is fully remote with flexible work. Strong SQL (PostgreSQL), Linux CLI, English fluency, and GitHub familiarity are required; React/Vue/Svelte and Node.js experience are a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in developer support for technical customers.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
Proficient in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL.
Comfortable with Linux/Unix and the command line.
Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
Nice to have experience with React, Vue or Svelte and Node.js.
Having a CS degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide initial and timely responses to support cases across topics (billing, pre-sales, optimization, implementation).
Triage cases by directing users to answers, code examples, or documentation; escalate when needed.
Monitor channels such as GitHub Issues & Discussions.
Identify and suggest internal tooling to improve support efficiency.
Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage.
