Job summary

Supabase is seeking a remote-support engineer to provide initial and timely assistance to developers and technical customers, triaging issues and guiding them to answers, code samples, or escalation as needed.

You will monitor multiple channels, reproduce issues for test coverage, and work with product engineering and growth teams to streamline workflows and reduce time to fix. Strong SQL and Linux skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and comfort with complex queries.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and command line; familiarity with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bonus: database administration experience, familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js; Computer Science degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to support cases covering billing, pre sales, optimization, and implementation questions.
• Triangulate issues by directing users to answers, code examples, or escalation to appropriate teams.
• Monitor multiple feedback channels and reproduce issues to create test cases and improve coverage.
• Identify opportunities to build internal tooling to streamline support workflows.
• Collaborate with product engineering and growth teams to reduce time to fix and improve processes.
