Job summary

Supabase is seeking a Support Engineer to provide world-class developer support across billing, pre-sales, optimization, and implementation questions. The role is fully remote with a globally distributed team, emphasizing quick guidance and collaboration with product engineering and growth teams.

We expect 3+ years of developer-support experience, strong PostgreSQL SQL skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing developer support.
• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL) with ability to write complex queries.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience with GitHub Issues/Discussions.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and the command line.
• Bonus: experience with Node.js and modern JS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely responses to support cases across billing, pre-sales, optimization, and implementation.
• Triage and direct users to docs, examples, or escalate to specific teams.
• Monitor feedback channels like GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Identify internal tooling gaps to improve support efficiency.
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and contribute to test coverage.
