Job summary

Unique Escapes is seeking an Event Destination Specialist to plan unforgettable destination weddings, group trips, and corporate events. This remote role focuses on sales, research, and building client relationships to turn a client's vision into a seamless travel experience.

You will guide clients from inquiry through booking, propose destinations and packages, and provide proactive follow-up throughout the sales cycle, coordinating travel logistics and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm, professional tone.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, clients, and deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, email tools, calendars, spreadsheets, and travel booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify, and follow up with leads for destination weddings, group trips, celebrations, corporate retreats, and events.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client preferences, goals, budget, dates, group size, and expectations.
• Research destinations, resorts, venues, cruises, excursions, and travel packages.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, itineraries, room-block summaries, and reservation details.
• Present options clearly, highlighting value and experiences.
• Guide clients through decision-making and booking with professionalism.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Track leads, sales activity, proposals, payments, deposits, deadlines, and requests in CRM.
• Coordinate travel logistics: accommodations, airport transfers, excursions, pre/post-event stays.
• Follow up to move opportunities forward and close bookings.
• Maintain accurate client records and booking details.
• Assist with email campaigns, social content, onboarding, and referrals.
• Identify upsell opportunities like excursions and upgrades.
