Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Deputy CAD Administrator to support the CAD standards, design technology environment, and project teams. You’ll help maintain CAD standards, assist with user support, and contribute to efficient and scalable design practices across the organization.

The role can be located in any office, hybrid or fully remote, with opportunities to influence CAD governance and continuous improvement across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent).
• 5 to 10 years of CAD platform experience in a professional setting.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Bentley OpenX products and/or ProjectWise.
• Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
• Document CAD procedures and workflows.
• Support quality control reviews to ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support and onboarding.
• Assist with software installations, version updates, and license coordination.
• Coordinate file management and project setup with IT and PMs.
• Assist with client Workspace deployment and CAD workflow enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve CAD challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and automation.
