Job summary
Hanson Professional Services Inc. seeks a Deputy CAD Administrator to support and enhance our CAD environment. The role centers on maintaining CAD standards, assisting users, troubleshooting issues, and enabling scalable design practices across our offices.
The position can be hybrid or fully remote, with opportunities to contribute to governance and tool optimization. The candidate will work with MicroStation, ProjectWise, and related Bentley tools, collaborate across disciplines, and help
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience using CAD platforms in a professional environment.
- Proficiency with MicroStation and/or Bentley OpenX products and/or ProjectWise (plus AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit or other BIM tools).
- Strong understanding of CAD standards, plotting, and file management.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
- Provide day-to-day CAD user support and troubleshooting.
- Assist with onboarding and CAD training materials.
- Coordinate software installations, version updates, and licensing.
- Support project setup, file management, and data exchange between CAD platforms.
- Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and automation.
