Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Deputy CAD Administrator to lead maintenance and improvement of our CAD and design technology.

You will enforce standards, support users, troubleshoot issues, and help deliver consistent design practices across projects. Position can be located in any office, hybrid or fully remote, reporting to the CAD Administrator and collaborating with engineering teams to scale CAD workflows and tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of CAD experience in a professional environment.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and Bentley OpenX and ProjectWise.
• Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and workflows.
• Document CAD procedures and support quality control reviews.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support, onboarding, and training materials.
• Assist software installations, updates, and license coordination.
• Coordinate file management and project setup with IT and PMs.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve CAD challenges.
