Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring a Practice Consultant to design and commercialize energy solutions for utility and public-sector programs. You will translate client needs into tailored DSM offers, and work with delivery teams to ensure scalable, effective implementations across geographies.

The role emphasizes collaboration across business development, engineering, and product teams, with a focus on creating defensible proposals and measurable outcomes. Remote-friendly opportunities exist nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills (Excel, PowerBI or similar).
• Familiarity with regulated utility environments, filings, and evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight timelines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Commercialization: Support solution design for pursuits, including measure strategies, program structure, budgets, and pricing.
• Translate market, regulatory, and client needs into tailored program designs.
• Contribute to development of compelling, defensible proposals that support successful pursuit outcomes.
• Solution Support & Handoff: Support continuity between proposal assumptions and program execution during handoff to the Program Delivery team.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure designed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with operational realities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across business development, delivery, engineering, product, IT, and marketing.
• Operate with independence while taking direction in time-sensitive environments.
• Market & Industry Awareness: Maintain knowledge of DSM, electrification, and distributed energy resource programs.
• Product & Offering Support: Work with Product and Engineering to influence direction of offerings.
• Commercial Support: Contribute to revenue growth through development of solutions and competitive positioning.
