Job summary

Motorola Solutions, in partnership with Silvus Technologies, seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Marine Corps requirements. The role supports the Applications Engineering team in demonstrating the interoperability of the StreamCaster MANET radios across expeditionary, littoral, ground, airborne and unmanned environments.

Expect up to 50% travel for field tests and demonstrations, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Network engineering or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years' experience OR HS Diploma with 5+ years' relevant defense experience
• Experience with Software-Defined Radios, IP routing protocols, or tactical communications
• Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
• Ability to obtain Government SECRET clearance within 15 months

Responsibilities

• Support field trials and demonstrations of StreamCaster radios across mission environments
• Collaborate with engineering and business development to meet MARCORSYCOM requirements
• Assist in technical planning, network configuration, and field testing
• Travel up to 50% for customer sites and demonstrations
