Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related discipline; 7+ years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, data engineering, or related field.
• Formal knowledge of data protection concepts, encryption, key management, access controls, and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection controls across the enterprise data estate, including classification, labeling, masking, DLP, and de-identification.
• Operate encryption controls for data at rest and in transit, including CMKs and key rotation with vaulting services.
• Enforce least-privilege access across data platforms, perform entitlement reviews, and automate access validation.
• Harden security configurations for Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, data lakes, and storage services.
• Embed security controls into data ingestion, transformation, and export workflows; secure service identities and networks.
