Job summary

This hands-on role focuses on encryption, access controls, data classification, masking, and secure data pipelines, with collaboration across IT, Security Operations, Data & Analytics, Governance, and Data Engineering. The role is 100% remote from approved states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, database engineering, data engineering, or a related field, including 2+ years focused on data protection or database security.

Responsibilities

• Implements data protection controls across the enterprise data estate, including labeling, masking, and de-identification.
• Configures encryption controls for data at rest and in transit with CMKs and key rotation.
• Implements least-privilege access models and performs entitlement reviews.
• Embeds security controls into data ingestion, transformation, and data sharing workflows.
