Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, information security or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, database engineering, data engineering, or a related field, including 2+ years focused on data protection or database security.
• Proficiency with SQL, including the ability to assess queries, permissions, schemas, and database security configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reusable data protection controls across the enterprise data estate.
• Operate encryption controls for data at rest and in transit, including CMK and key rotation.
• Implement least-privilege access models and conduct entitlement reviews to identify excessive or orphaned access.
• Automate control deployment, configuration assessment, and compliance validation via scripting and IaC.
