Job summary

Deckers Brands in the United States (Remote) is seeking a Data Domain Manager to lead governance and program delivery across the Product data domain, partnering with business and process owners, data and technology teams, and stakeholders to establish domain strategy, ownership, standards, and data quality controls.

You will develop and execute a domain data roadmap, drive improvements that maximize business value, and enable enterprise transformation through clear governance and actionable

Qualifications

• Experience establishing data governance practices with ownership and standards.
• Experience with data quality measures, KPIs, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with metadata, data lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across teams.
• Experience supporting PLM or product data lifecycle processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead domain data strategy, ownership, prioritization, and governance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to establish ownership and decision rights.
• Identify critical data elements and define standards and business rules.
• Develop and execute a domain data roadmap prioritizing improvements.
• Define data quality dimensions, KPIs, controls, and lead remediation.
• Monitor domain data health and escalate risks of data issues.
• Manage domain metadata, lifecycle, and stewardship across its lifecycle.
• Translate business needs into governance and technology requirements.
• Establish health metrics, scorecards, and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to strengthen data quality and governance.
