Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Data Domain Manager to lead governance and improvements of the enterprise data within a Product data domain. You will partner with business and tech teams to define standards, ownership, and roadmaps that enable data-driven transformation.

The role emphasizes establishing data quality, KPIs, and controls, while driving continuous improvement and leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to strengthen data governance and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and MDM.
• Experience defining data standards, ownership, and governance processes.
• Familiarity with PLM data or product data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead domain data strategy, ownership, and prioritization across the product data domain.
• Establish governance ownership, accountability, and decision rights with stakeholders.
• Define critical data elements and business rules to drive informed decisions.
• Develop a domain data roadmap to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Improve data quality through KPIs, controls, and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor data health and escalate risks to drive improvements.
• Manage domain metadata, lifecycle, and stewardship across systems.
• Translate business needs into data standards and technology requirements.
• Support system implementations and data governance initiatives enterprise-wide.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance data governance and outcomes.
