Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Data Domain Manager to lead governance and improvement of enterprise data within the Product domain. You will partner across business, data, and tech teams to define ownership, standards, and domain strategy, ensuring data is trusted, accessible, and fit for use in PLM processes and transformation initiatives.

You will drive a domain data roadmap, establish KPIs, and leverage emerging technologies to raise data quality, governance effectiveness, and business outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• Certifications in Data Governance/Quality preferred.
• Experience implementing data governance across a domain.
• Experience with product data and PLM systems preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and resolve data issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead domain data strategy, ownership, and prioritization to drive transformation.
• Partner with stakeholders to establish ownership, accountability, and decision rights.
• Identify critical data elements and define standards and business rules.
• Develop a domain data roadmap and prioritize improvements for value.
• Improve data quality with KPIs, controls, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor data health and escalate risks with corrective actions.
• Manage domain metadata, lifecycle, and stewardship across systems.
• Translate business needs into governance and technology requirements.
• Establish health metrics and scorecards to track performance.
• Leverage AI and emerging tech to improve data quality and governance.
