Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Data Domain Manager to lead governance and improvement of enterprise data within a Product domain, ensuring data is trusted and accessible across processes and analytics.

You will partner with business and technology teams to establish standards, drive data quality, and translate needs into governance requirements. This remote role supports PLM processes and broader enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management.
• Demonstrated ability to drive data ownership, standards, and governance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead domain data strategy, ownership, and prioritization to enable business transformation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to establish ownership and decision rights.
• Identify critical data elements and define standards and rules.
• Develop and execute a domain data roadmap to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Drive data quality improvements with KPIs, controls, and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor domain health and escalate risks to drive improvements.
• Manage metadata, lifecycle, and stewardship across the domain.
• Translate business needs into governance and technology requirements.
• Establish health metrics and scorecards for continuous improvement.
• Explore AI-enabled data capabilities to enhance quality and governance.
