Deckers Brands is looking for a Director of Data Architecture to lead the design and governance of our enterprise data architecture. In this remote role, you will collaborate with engineering and business teams to create a robust data foundation, influencing data standards across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and extensive experience in cloud-based data design, ensuring scalable and successful outcomes in our data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in data architecture roles, including leadership experience.
• Significant experience designing and implementing architecture in cloud‑based environments.
• Understanding of modern data formats like Parquet, Iceberg, and Delta Lake.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture principles and standards.
• Lead design and maintenance of data structures.
• Influence data design decisions across programs and projects.
