Job summary

ABB, a leader in electrification services, seeks a Data Center Tender/Quotation Specialist to support nationwide data center bids for mission-critical infrastructure.

You will formulate competitive bids, manage documentation, and lead technical, financial, and project management aspects of proposals while interfacing with customers and internal teams. This role is remote within the United States and requires travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or business required.
• 12+ years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically, as required.
• Experience with industrial power delivery and/or power distribution systems, ideally in data center market.
• Technical experience with data center customers and processes.
• Ability to interface closely with internal & external customers.
• Previous contract terms & conditions, or execution experience.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Formulating competitive bids, estimates, and quotations considering product mix and technical/commercial aspects.
• Ensuring tenders are well-documented with full and accurate costs.
• Leading and managing planning/preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids and quotations, including prices and trading conditions.
• Managing collection/archival of documentation and recording assumptions/decisions; reporting bid status regularly.
