Job summary

Ericsson seeks a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in Plano, TX, with a remote option within Texas. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing, and documentation following Ericsson and customer standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in data center ops or IT infra, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating with teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience with rack mounting, cabling, testing, and equipment provisioning.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and MOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per engineering designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install rack PDUs and verify power connectivity.
• Provision equipment and OOB management connections.
• Execute tests, MACD activities, and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and inventory.
• Identify design or safety risks and escalate to senior staff.
