Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This role suits technicians experienced in data center operations, telecommunications, or IT infrastructure who can work independently on standard deployment tasks.

You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing, and OOB management while ensuring safety and adherence to Ericsson standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
• High school diploma or technical certification.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation documents.
• Attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and management.
• Install rack PDUs, connect to power sources, and verify power connectivity.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installation, and out-of-band management connections.
• Execute MACD activities and standard FRU replacements.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built documentation.
• Identify design concerns, operational issues, and safety risks to senior staff.
