Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. This role is ideal for technicians with experience in data center operations, telecommunications, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure who are ready to work independently on standard deployment and operational tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing and equipment installation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation documentation, and MOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment, and related infrastructure according to designs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install rack PDUs, connect equipment to power sources, and verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and manage OOB connections.
• Perform testing and validation, MACD activities, and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built docs.
