Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure support.
• High school diploma or technical certification or equivalent experience required.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment, and related infrastructure according to designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Perform equipment provisioning, hardware installation, and OOB management connections.
• Execute basic testing and validation activities including continuity testing and fiber verification.
• Handle MACD activities and FRU replacements following approved procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built documentation.
• Escalate design concerns, operational issues, and safety risks as needed.
