Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. The role involves rack-and-stack work, cabling installations, equipment provisioning, testing, and safe, compliant task execution.

You will work with minimal supervision on standard deployment tasks, documenting results and coordinating with project teams to ensure quality and timely completion.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in data center operations, cabling, field services, or IT infra support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, PDU, and cabling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation docs, and MOPs.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs and docs.
• Install, route, terminate, and manage copper and fiber cabling with labeling.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify power and management connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and set up OOB management.
• Perform testing and MACD activities, including basic validation and documentation updates.
• Identify design or safety issues and escalate to senior technicians as needed.
