Job summary

Aspen Technology is seeking a Sales Account Executive to drive revenue in Data Center Power Generation and Microgrid markets across North America. The role focuses on attracting new customers, growing market share, and developing strong industry relationships.

The position will be remote with strategic geography considered. You will promote the Monarch Platform and build strategic plans to penetrate new markets while presenting technical solutions to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in operational technology sales, marketing, operations or related fields applying Control System and Microgrid solutions.
• Proven ability to break into new accounts and build key relationships across verticals.
• Strong understanding of drivers for control system upgrades in the data center power segment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% annually within the United States and Canada.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customer accounts in data center power generation and microgrid markets.
• Promote and sell the Monarch Platform for power plants and microgrids to align with customer needs.
• Engage potential customers to understand objectives and propose Emerson Portfolio solutions.
• Create strategic account plans to penetrate new markets and grow market share.
• Build relationships with executives, technical teams, and procurement to close orders.
• Deliver technical presentations to prospective clients and manage CRM entries.
• Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
