Job summary

Jabil seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Center Infrastructure Engineering team, directing design, development, release and lifecycle management of power, cooling and infrastructure products. Remote-friendly with an Austin, TX option and 25% travel.

You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering group, drive priorities, plan resources, and ensure high-quality, manufacturable solutions while partnering across functions to deliver scalable products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, controls, or systems engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with complex products or integrated systems.
• Experience leading controls engineering including PLCs, embedded or industrial controls.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Experience with product development, NPI, production and/or sustaining engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Establish priorities, performance expectations, and development plans.
• Plan and balance resources across multiple projects and platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and design oversight to engineers.
• Ensure deliverables meet functionality, quality, safety, manufacturability, reliability, and compliance.
• Facilitate design reviews, resolve cross-functional issues, communicate risks.
• Work with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management through lifecycle.
• Drive engineering standards, release processes, change control, baselining and traceability.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
