Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Data Center Infrastructure Engineering team, driving design, development, release and lifecycle management of power, cooling, and infrastructure products.

The role supports remote work or can be based in Austin, TX with travel. You will partner with multiple engineering functions and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable products across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with complex products or systems.
• 3+ years leading, supervising or managing engineering teams.
• Experience supporting product development, NPI, production and sustaining environments.
• Experience collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team across product development, NPI, production and sustaining activities.
• Establish clear priorities, performance expectations, development plans, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Plan and balance resources across projects, programs and platforms while monitoring workload and capacity.
• Provide technical guidance and design oversight while ensuring ownership and accountability.
• Ensure deliverables meet functionality, quality, safety, manufacturability, reliability and regulatory requirements.
• Drive engineering reviews, resolve cross-functional issues, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain throughout the lifecycle.
