Jabil is seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Data Center Infrastructure Team. The role focuses on designing and integrating hydronic cooling systems for data centers, performing advanced structural analysis, and coordinating across electrical and thermal domains.

Requires 8+ years in mechanical design, CAD/FEA proficiency, and strong collaboration skills. Eligible for remote work with up to 25% travel domestically or internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience preferred, data center, industrial, or power systems exposure.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor) and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, thermal and airflow considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate hydronic cooling components for data centers.
• Lead mechanical design reviews and cross-functional validation.
• Create CAD models and fabrication drawings including weldments and sheet metal parts.
• Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve fabrication issues and ensure quality.
