Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly driven Business Development Lead to accelerate growth in hyperscaler and data center markets, focusing on Inside Plant infrastructure, low voltage, and high-density fiber connectivity in a multi-tenant environment.

You will own the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting and relationship building to RFP strategy, contract negotiations, and handoff to operations, working with senior stakeholders across facilities, procurement, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of closing multi-million-dollar contracts in infrastructure, construction, or tech.
• Deep knowledge of ISP data center infrastructure, fiber deployments, and low voltage topologies.
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to engineers and executives.
• Experience developing territory and account plans aligned with revenue targets.
• Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), bid management software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Strategically generate a robust pipeline in hyperscaler and data center ecosystems.
• Manage key relationships with data center facilities, procurement, engineers, and contractors.
• Provide technical consultation in client meetings on fiber, Cat6A, and ISP data center topologies.
• Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and operations to ensure viable, properly scoped, and priced solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive actions to refine market positioning.
