Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a proactive sales leader to drive national accounts within the Data Center Services portfolio. You will engage DC operators, hyperscale and cloud operators, VARs, contractors, and partners to secure opportunities and expand strategic relationships.

This role requires on-site presence, travel, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to win new business. You will develop market strategies, manage key accounts, and help position unique fiber infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years in business development or related roles.
• Strong relationship-building and prospecting capability.
• Willing to travel 25–50%.
• Experience in data center, telecom, construction, infrastructure services or similar B2B environments.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute business development for new and existing key accounts and provide leadership through goal setting and communication.
• Develop integrated sales planning/sales models for an integrated approach to key accounts.
• Maintain accurate and timely key sales forecasts and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Senior Sales Team and Global Account leaders during the sales process.
• This role is best suited for a proactive, field-oriented sales professional on-site.
• Own market activation plans for assigned target geographies.
• Assist with building relationships with target customers, contractors, developers, and partners.
• Identify and pursue new logo and expansion opportunities.
• Partner with Sales leadership for territory-specific pursuit strategies.
• Translate market strategy into actionable customer engagement.
• Support early-stage opportunity shaping and competitive positioning.
• Coordinate with Operations and leadership to align growth with delivery readiness.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline, activity, and barriers to entry.
• Help accelerate revenue growth and market penetration in strategic geographies.
