Job summary

ABB is seeking a leader to manage day-to-day Data Center Services operations in the United States, reporting to the Director of the Center of Excellence. You will drive service strategy, ensure quality and safety, and lead a surge team for timely delivery.

The role requires 50% travel, deep knowledge of power delivery equipment, and strong cross-functional collaboration with ABB teams to optimize customer operations and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience in engineering or business.
• Knowledge of Data Center Start-up and Commissioning strategies and field service development.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of time; work authorization to work in the US already in place.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day service activities for the Data Center Services Center Of Excellence in the US.
• Leads surge team development, onboarding, training, and timesheet/supplier invoice validation.
• Drives service strategy, KPI-based performance, and end-to-end delivery excellence.
• collaborates with ABB teams to assign personnel and support project execution.
• Maintains high customer focus, urgency, and safety in all field service operations.
