The candidate should have 4+ years of substantive litigation experience, strong writing, and initiative. Remote or hybrid arrangements are available; Chicago base is mentioned.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4–8 years of substantive litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience managing litigation matters or substantial components of cases.
• Ability to anticipate deadlines and move matters forward with initiative.
• Direct data breach, privacy litigation, consumer class action, or related experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated consumer class action litigation with a focus on data breach matters.
• Investigate and develop potential cases and claims.
• Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement papers.
• Manage litigation deadlines and help develop case strategy.
• Communicate with clients and work closely with co-counsel.
• Participate in court appearances, negotiations, and mediations.
• Coordinate with paralegals, staff, vendors, experts, and team members.
• Progressively take ownership of matters and develop original cases.
