SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer who partners with customers and internal teams to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions across enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The role emphasizes translating complex security concepts into business outcomes, with a remote work setup that may require occasional office reporting in Austin, TX, and collaboration with technology partners to validate solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST/CIS/HITRUST.
• Ability to translate complex security concepts to business outcomes.
• Experience selling cybersecurity products in a VAR/ SI environment.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess security architectures to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high-level architectures and proposal documentation for cybersecurity solutions.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions and value propositions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and briefings.
• Collaborate with vendors to validate and refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery teams.
