Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions for enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

This customer-facing role reports to the sales team and is remote, with periodic office obligations in Austin, Texas as needed. The ideal candidate combines deep security expertise with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value, and collaborates with partners to validate solutions and

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, HITRUST at intermediate level.
• Strong knowledge of email security technologies including SEG, phishing protection, DLP.
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to customers and sales teams.
• Expertise in email security vendors such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to capture goals, security needs, and environments.
• Assess security architectures for gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop high-level architectures, proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demos, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners to validate proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to post-sales delivery after closure.
