Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre‑Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to design, position, and articulate cybersecurity solutions across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

This remote role may require periodic reporting to the Austin office based on business needs. The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, pre-sales, or solutions architecture
• Broad understanding of email and data security across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid
• Strong ability to communicate and sell complex security products
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, HITRUST

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand goals, security challenges, and technology environments.
• Assess customer security architectures for gaps, risks, and improvements.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security and develops high‑level architectures, proposals, and documentation.
• Design scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with technology partners to validate and refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre‑sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide security-focused enablement to internal sales teams.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to post‑sales delivery after opportunity closure.
