Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Pre-Sales Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer for a US remote, full-time capacity. The role focuses on designing, positioning, and articulating cybersecurity solutions across modern enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with the ability to translate complex security concepts into business outcomes. Periodic reporting to the office in Austin, Texas may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Broad understanding of email and data security across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, HITRUST).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and environments.
• Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrates expertise in email security environments and develops high-level architectures, proposals, and documentation.
• Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions aligned to customer requirements and best practices.
• Present security solutions, value propositions, and differentiation to technical and executive audiences.
• Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, and technical briefings.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors to validate and refine proposed solutions.
• Assist with pre-sales PoC efforts to validate technical fitness and business value.
• Provide technical enablement and security-focused training to internal sales teams.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales delivery teams after opportunity closure.
