Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Security to serve as a customer-facing endpoint security expert.

The role blends consultative security project support with the development of new security services offerings to address client opportunities. This remote position may be required to report to the office in Austin, Texas, as required for business needs and as determined by SHI management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in a technical cybersecurity role.
• 3+ years in Security Pre-Sales Consulting.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or CCNP Security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client contacts (CIO, CSO, CISO, Security Engineers, procurement) to strengthen relationships.
• Learn SHI service offerings across solution practices through training and self-study.
• Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions through 1x1, team, and company training.
• Stay current on new technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industry landscape.
• Engage in lab work to increase job-related knowledge and skills.
• Develop collateral to assist cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Develop use cases in the SHI lab to support sales engagements.
