Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic cybersecurity initiatives across multiple domains. You will translate strategy into execution, align stakeholders, manage risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes that strengthen security posture and compliance.

The role requires partnering with cybersecurity leaders, engineers, product teams, and vendors, with travel as needed. 40 hours weekly, remote optional with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/cybersecurity or related field.
• 2-5 years of project management experience leading projects in technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience managing initiatives involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience delivering projects in domains such as Identity Security, Security Operations, Incident Response, Cloud Security, Network Security, Governance, Product Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and operational transition.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, decisions, and action items.
• Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology organizations, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Drive execution of initiatives in areas like Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, Security Operations, Threat Detection & Response, Network Security, and Cloud Security.
• Facilitate planning sessions, stakeholder reviews, executive updates, governance forums, and project steering meetings.
• Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, cross-team dependencies, and schedule impacts; develop mitigation plans.
