Job summary

Humana is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of strategic cybersecurity initiatives, aligning technical teams and business partners to secure systems and enable business goals. You will translate strategy into executable plans, manage risks, and report progress to executives.

The role requires coordinating across Identity Security, Threat Management, Cloud Security, and Governance domains, adapting Agile/Hybrid approaches, and guiding vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of project management experience leading technology or cybersecurity initiatives.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams, stakeholders and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience delivering projects in Identity Security, Security Operations, Cloud/Network/Application Security, or Governance.
• Strong planning, risk management, governance and reporting skills.
• Experience creating executive-level communications and decision-support materials.
• Ability to influence stakeholders in matrixed organizations.
• Experience with project financials, budgets, forecasts, and vendor engagements.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM for project financial management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives from planning through implementation and transition.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with milestones, risks, assumptions, and decisions.
• Coordinate delivery across cybersecurity teams, technology groups, business stakeholders, and vendors.
• Drive execution across domains such as Identity Security, Threat Detection, Cloud Security, and Governance.
• Facilitate planning sessions, reviews, and executive updates with stakeholders.
• Identify risks, constraints, dependencies, and schedule impacts; create mitigation plans.
• Establish project reporting with progress, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
• Develop leadership-level communications and status updates for governance bodies.
• Align project execution with strategic objectives and capability roadmaps.
• Manage scope, goals, timeline, budgets, and time tracking; ensure control compliance.
• Support vendor engagements, contracts, and procurement activities when applicable.
• Maintain artifacts, governance requirements, and project controls across the lifecycle.
• Promote consistent delivery practices across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models.
