Job summary

Kinetix, a New Charter Company, seeks a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager to lead cybersecurity compliance programs, risk initiatives, and vCISO advisory services for clients in a remote United States-based role. You will partner with clients, leadership, security operations, and analysts to strengthen security programs and meet contractual obligations.

You will drive multi-framework initiatives (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001) and guide AI governance,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT/cybersecurity, governance, risk or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001 with audit experience.
• Experience managing third-party risk, cyber insurance, and remediation tracking.
• Proven ability to advise executives and manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives across multiple frameworks.
• Oversee risk assessments, policy development, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, including strategy, roadmaps, and board-level reporting.
• Guide AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks.
• Coordinate with security operations and clients to ensure contractual security commitments.
