Job summary

Kinetix Technology Services, LLC, a New Charter Technologies company, seeks a Cybersecurity and Compliance Manager to lead multi-framework programs (NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001) in a remote United States-based role. You will drive risk assessments, vendor due diligence, and executive risk reporting for clients.

You will mentor the security and compliance team, collaborate with security operations, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations while guiding AI

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT, cybersecurity, information security governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance.
• Active CISSP certification in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, SOC 2, CIS Controls, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CMMC, ISO 27001; supporting audits and evidence management.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk, cyber insurance assessments, and using GRC/compliance platforms.
• Ability to advise executives, manage multiple engagements, and evaluate security controls across Windows, macOS, cloud, networking, and identity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives including risk assessments, policy development, audit prep, and ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee Security Program Platform and governance, risk, and compliance processes.
• Provide vCISO advisory services, security strategy, roadmaps, and executive reporting.
• Guide clients on AI governance, data protection, and emerging security risks.
• Communicate findings and remediation priorities to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
