Job summary

Planet Green Search is seeking a Virtual Cyber Security Sales Engineer to drive cybersecurity solutions across the United States. You will blend technical depth with sales acumen in a fully virtual, travel-friendly role.

You will deliver demos, tailor secure designs, and partner with sales, product, and marketing to win deals. This role offers remote flexibility with nationwide travel and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as sales engineering or technical consulting.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with network security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, and cloud security.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development.
• Willingness to travel throughout the United States as needed.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive customer need identification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, technical requirements, and business challenges.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, offering insights into how cybersecurity solutions address pain points.
• Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations of capabilities and benefits.
• Design and propose customized cybersecurity solutions aligned with customer security objectives.
• Conduct technical deep-dive discussions to address complex inquiries and concerns.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, becoming their go-to cybersecurity resource.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing support.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, threats, and competitive landscape.
• Contribute to sales collateral, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Represent the client at industry events with willingness to travel across the US.
