Job summary

Livingston International is seeking a Release Operations coordinator for remote work in the USA. You will coordinate release and entry processing for air, ocean, rail shipments, including complex northern border shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, high school diploma, and CCS certification progress or completion. You will work with clients, carriers, and customs to ensure compliance and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent required.
• Working towards CCS designation with CSCB or NCBFAA is a requirement if not already obtained.
• Successful completion of the CCS examination is mandatory for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release and entry processing for air/ocean shipments, rail, and complex northern border shipments.
• Create customs entries selecting client records and interpret documentation.
• Enter shipment data for release, rating and billing in NSCs; ensure mandatory fields are complete.
• Report correct duty value based on invoice details and terms of sale; select HS codes.
• Collaborate with team to obtain missing documentation or instructions for release.
• Verify release conditions, compliance and tariff accuracy; escalate issues as needed.
• Utilize system automation tools to support release processing.
• Open files for new shipments and prepare entry summaries as required.
• Monitor status of Customs and PGA releases at time of release.
• Ensure SOPs and client instructions are followed; propose updates when needed.
• Respond to requests for information from team or traffic via phone or email.
