Job summary

Livingston International in the United States (San Antonio area) is seeking a detail-oriented Release Operations professional to coordinate timely processing, rating, and release of client shipments in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, in line with Livingston’s procedures and service standards.

You will create customs entries, review documentation, ensure accurate duty values, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments accurately and timely across modes.
• Create customs entries with proper client and HS code selection.
• Data entry for release (NSC), rating and billing; complete mandatory fields.
• Ensure correct value for duty and tariff treatment; select proper keywords/HS codes.
• Coordinate with Release Import Analyst for missing documents or instructions.
• Verify documentation for release conditions and compliance (e.g., free trade certificates).
• Adhere to LI,SOPs, ESPs and client instructions; suggest updates when needed.
• Identify ESPs and SOPs to improve efficiencies and client service.
• Respond to Call Center information requests professionally (phone or email).
• Prioritize work per client and customs requirements; escalate as needed.
• Update information for billing; assist in billing and ASR where required.
• Participate in day-to-day Release Operations with the team.
• Utilize system automation tools to support release processing.
