Responsibilities include inbound/outbound calls, email, web chat, and back-office support while ensuring first-contact resolution and compliance with SLAs.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and the ability to pass a federal background investigation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of related experience in customer service or public relations.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal tactfully with the public.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls, email and web chat, plus back-office support.
• Provide end-to-end, timely, courteous customer service and issue resolution.
• Monitor batch processing issues, edit code rejects and follow up on resolutions.
• Research and analyze customer service issues to deliver information and solutions quickly.
• Confirm processing status of data (notes, batch status, counseling, borrower information).
• Analyze data-integrity situations and provide long-term solutions to core issues.
• Log all contacts as new or updated cases to keep records accurate.
• Meet Service Level Agreements and program guidelines.
• Identify workflow improvements and adapt to new processes.
