Job summary

XACT is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to help our clients' customers from a secure home office. You’ll assist with product selection, answer questions, and guide orders with empathy and clarity.

You’ll work across phone, email, and live chat, maintain detailed records, meet performance goals, and look for ways to improve the customer experience. A high school diploma and 40 WPM typing are expected; a proactive attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
• Prior customer service experience is ideal, but we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to type at a minimum 40 WPM.
• Comfortable using technology and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers via phone, email, and live chat with product selection and order questions.
• Listen actively to understand needs and propose solutions.
• Explain steps clearly to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
