Job summary

Bayer is seeking an operations leader to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash in the US Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio. You will coordinate data, systems and pricing activities to ensure reliable supply and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading cross‑functional coordination with IT, Regulatory, Finance and Commercial teams, driving process improvements, and maintaining readiness metrics across master data, serialization and government pricing programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 5+ years in a relevant field, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions, transferring regulatory, data and system requirements into practical actions.
• Skilled in structured impact assessment, requirements gathering, dependency management, testing coordination, and readiness reporting.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management across seniority levels.
• Proactive, forward-thinking approach to evolving customer solutions in a dynamic environment with complex interdependencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order‑to‑Bill and Bill‑to‑Cash activities including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing and cash collection.
• Maintain oversight of third‑party operations and act as escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as SME for contracts, operational controls and audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners on logistics and supply chain to tailor solutions for customers; strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance and marketing.
• Coordinate NDC‑12 impact assessments and readiness across master data, SAP, serialization, pricing and government programs.
• Align cross‑functional requirements and controls with IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans, manage project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics and escalation paths for PMO leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions on NDC‑12 to reflect evolving external expectations.
