Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring for a Remote Customer Service Rep. This fully remote contract role pays $16.50 per hour and runs for 3 months, with potential for conversion based on performance. Candidates will handle calls from members and providers, input data, and maintain high service standards; emphasis on Medicare Silver Sneakers plan inquiries.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-8pm EST, with training 9:00am-5:30pm EST. Location is remote anywhere in the US, start December 7th, benefits eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings, adjusting the message to match the audience.
• PC skills with proficiency using Windows and MS Office.
• Ability to empathize and understand the needs of the customer.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency multi-tasking, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound calls from members and providers, input data, and provide a high level of customer service.
• A majority of the calls are to/from members eligible for a Silver Sneakers program through specific Medicare plans.
