Index Industries in Ontario, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to support both customers and the sales team by ensuring smooth order processing, timely communication, and exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities include handling calls, processing estimates and orders with high accuracy, assisting outside sales with quotes and entry, updating customer info in NetSuite, and tracking projects with Traction Tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to perform basic math functions and calculations.
• Strong multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service throughout each interaction.
• Process estimates and sales orders efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
• Assist outside sales representatives with quotes, order entry, and customer service needs.
• Identify sales opportunities and relay them to Account Managers or the Sales Manager.
• Provide customer service and technical support via Live Chat.
• Support the sales team by sourcing products from vendors.
• Make outbound calls as needed (e.g., emailed orders, stock issues, split shipments).
• Maintain and update customer account information.
• Relay customer comments, complaints, or issues to the Sales Manager.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and trade shows as required.
• Create new customer accounts in NetSuite.
• Update and track projects regularly using Traction Tools.
