Job summary

Celestica is seeking a remote-focused Buyer/Customer Order Analyst role that interfaces between customers and internal teams to manage orders and resolve delivery issues. The role emphasizes data accuracy, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration from home-based and US-near locations.

You will monitor orders, analyze trends, and produce monthly management reports while coordinating with suppliers and customers to ensure timely fulfillment and optimal service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, scheduling, logistics and customer contracts.
• Excellent customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as interface between customers and the team.
• Review and monitor status of customer orders.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting on-time delivery.
• Communicate customer requirements and issues in production meetings.
• Research issues (material, forecast, EDI) and coordinate resolution.
• Maintain issues, complaints and corrective actions for reports.
• Enter data into databases ensuring root cause is reached.
• Troubleshoot return issues.
• Develop and generate performance reports and metrics.
• Track and resolve issues in monthly management reports.
• Analyze issues to determine trends.
• Prepare/distribute reports (open orders, on-time delivery, yields, etc).
• Assist more experienced team members with quotes.
• Track project and billing status.
